1、 Principle of catalytic oxidizer
Catalytic oxidizer (voc-co) is an energy-saving and environmental protection device used to treat low and medium concentration volatile organic waste gas. The activation energy of the organic matter is reduced by the action of the catalyst, so that the oxidation temperature of the organic matter is reduced. At a relatively low temperature (such as 300 ℃), Wan total oxidation decomposition occurs, and CO Ψ and H2O are generated.
The organic waste gas enters the heat exchanger for heat exchange to realize the recovery of waste heat. After the heat exchanger, the waste gas is further heated by the heater (heated by multiple groups of electric heating tubes). The heated organic waste gas reaches the ignition temperature of the waste gas under the action of the catalyst. The waste gas enters the catalytic combustion bed, and under the action of the catalyst, it is cracked into CO2 and H2O at high temperature. The organic components are purified. At the same time, the heat released by the cracking of the organic waste gas further increases the gas temperature. The purified tail gas is recycled through the heat exchanger.
The preheating exhaust gas heating of catalytic combustion adopts a pollution-free and stable electric heating mode. The electric heating tubes are divided into groups and automatically controlled by the electric control box. PLC and system temperature interlock control are adopted. When the exhaust gas temperature is lower than a certain temperature (can be set), the electric heating tubes will automatically turn on the power supply to heat the exhaust gas. When the exhaust gas temperature is higher than a certain temperature (can be set), the electric heating tubes will automatically disconnect group I, group II Multiple or all power supplies to save electric energy and achieve a full operation.
Catalytic combustion reaction is a typical gas-solid catalytic reaction. Its essence is a process in which the organics (VOCs) Co adsorbed on the catalyst surface react with oxygen from the air at a certain temperature, which is thoroughly oxidized and decomposed into harmless CO2 and H2O, and the reaction heat is released. With the help of catalyst, the ignition temperature of organic matter can be greatly reduced, flameless combustion can be carried out, and preheating energy consumption and NOx generation can be reduced. The CO oxidation unit is composed of combustion chamber, catalyst and electric heater.
