1. Analysis of dust movement and determination of dust suppression mode
The movement of dust particles generated in the processing of graphite products is mainly affected by three kinds of forces. The larger particles fall directly into the waste slot of the lathe due to the action of gravity; The smaller particles fall outside the lathe waste trough due to the tangential inertia force (mechanical force); Respiratory dust with very small volume can be suspended in the air for a long time due to air flow. In order to achieve better dust suppression effect, it is more reasonable to capture in the dust source., Due to the stable chemical properties of graphite, non-toxic and harmless, wet dedusting treatment can be adopted.
2. Principle of dust collector
Wet dedusting is a kind of dedusting method with high dedusting efficiency. The author has designed a self-excited water curtain dust removal device to complete the system dust removal. The dusty air flow is depressurized and accelerated through the throttling device under the suction of the fan. At this time, the high-speed air flow impacts the water surface (or water droplets), and part of the dust is captured due to the collision. After the air flow accelerates, high-speed water droplets (self-excited effect) are excited at the throttling port. The high-speed water droplets move in the air flow field, and a series of continuously moving water droplets form the dust removal water curtain. At this time, Dust is captured due to collision or adhesion. The top plate of the dust collector and the rear baffle form a relatively narrow semi closed dust removal chamber, which increases the probability of gas-water contact and achieves good dust removal effect. Finally, the clean gas is discharged through the air outlet.
