Fluoride containing industrial wastewater will be discharged during the manufacturing of fluorine products, coke production, electronic components production, electroplating, glass and silicate production, steel and aluminum manufacturing, metal processing, wood corrosion prevention and pesticide and fertilizer production. The treatment methods of fluoride containing wastewater can be divided into precipitation method and adsorption method. Precipitation method is suitable for the treatment of industrial wastewater with high fluoride content, but the incomplete treatment of precipitation method often requires secondary treatment. The chemicals required for treatment include lime, alum, dolomite, etc. The adsorption method is suitable for the treatment of industrial wastewater with low fluoride content or wastewater whose fluoride concentration still fails to meet the relevant regulations after sedimentation treatment.
